This policy describes what data Balyq shop collects when operating the site and processing orders, why it is used, and with whom it is shared. Phone number - for one-time password (OTP) login and order communication. Name and delivery address - to assemble the order and deliver it to the address you provide. Email - optional, for notifications and two-factor authentication.
Your order history on the site and current cart contents. Technical session data (HttpOnly cookies holding access and refresh tokens) - to keep you signed in and protect the session from being stolen by an in-page script.
Phone-based authentication, placing and fulfilling orders (pickup or delivery), contacting you about order status, keeping a purchase history in your account, and protecting against fraud and abuse.
On Balyq shop servers located in the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the X2POS point-of-sale system (its servers are also located in Kazakhstan), with which the order is synchronised for in-store fulfilment. Access is limited to employees who need it for their role.
X2POS - order line items and total, the customer's name and phone number are shared to issue a receipt and reserve stock. SMS provider - the phone number is shared to deliver the one-time login code. Government authorities - only where explicitly required by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We do not share data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. No cross-border transfer of personal data takes place - data is processed and stored within the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Account data and order history are kept while your account exists. After account deletion, data is removed or anonymised, except for data we are required to retain by law (for example, fiscal receipts and accounting records).
You may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and withdraw consent for processing. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may also apply to the authorized personal data protection body of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
